• Based on the reading, Art_Interaction_and_Engagement, write a reflection about the ways technology was used in your project.

In my project, the Infrared Distance Sensor is used to detect the distance.Then the Arduino board will send the data to processing sketch, where the distance is connected with the depth of each pixel. Therefore, users may interact with the image on processing by moving back and forth their hands.

• Is this an engaging interaction? 

I think so. Firstly, the image looks really different after being split into ellipses with certain colors, which may have great attractiveness to the users. In addition, the interaction with sensor offers them a sense of control over the image. 

• What would you do to make it more engaging if you had more time to work on this project?

I’ve come up with two points. The first one is that I’d like to add some sound interaction into my project. And I also want to add more sensors. For example, I think connecting human’s body temperature with the color of each pixel would be interesting!
