Previously, I’ve used paper, clay, and wood for prototyping(mostly for some art projects). Compared with that, I think digital fabrication is more convenient, time-saving and can present some concepts or ideas more precisely. Maybe next time I will use digital fabrication to prototype but of course before that I need to learn 3D-modeling. With its assistance, I can make different prototypes in a shorter time, which enables me to focus on generating ideas and making flexible adjustment upon feedbacks.

Interaction is a communication between humans, objects or from human to object, which involves adaptation, learning, anticipation and deeper understanding. Especially in interaction arts, play and pleasure are highly valued and they are synthesized into different categories.

Firstly, as mentioned above, a successful interactive experience should include play and pleasure, which are the essence of interaction. This can be a sense of achievement, attractiveness, the pleasure of exploration and competition……
Besides, an interactive experience with attraction power is based on research of human behaviors, thorough understandings and careful observations.
