Reflection Questions

1: Bulbs in hotel, home, classroom

The wires connect the batteries(probably the power source from the power plants) switches, resistors, bulb and Arduino Kit, or other companies’ kit. The technicians from the bulb companies which create that light circuit firstly use computers to program how the bulbs will light, for example, blink or fade. After, they are set in rooms. People can press the switches to connect the entire circuit. Then, the bulbs will follow the code that previously put in and start to light.

   Fans

The wires connect the electric power, from the power plants, switches, resistors, motors, IC induction magnet which is used for controlling the circuit and the fans. Similarly, the technicians will initialing program the code for how the fans will swirl. Also, they will use IC induction magnet to make the fans swirl in different speed. After installation, people can press the switch to make it start swirl and also use another button to make it swirl differently.

2: In today’s circuits, I recognize the bulb, resistors which are 220R and 10K, button cell, Arduino Kit, the board which is used for setting the components more efficiently, wires, buzzer, buttons (or switches).

3: The first project in the video tells us that we can use the interaction between human and computers to realize things that we may not able to do in the reality such as moving the things we draw separately without breaking these initial shape and properties. Related to the second project, the EyeWriter, the interaction and the future of technology is largely going to help the disable people and fix their drawbacks in some ways like robotic legs to help them walk, robotic arms to help them lift and pick us things, the EyeWriter to help them write even the robotic brains to help people think. These are definitely coming true in the future. Finally, I personally believe that the future technology of interaction between human beings and computers will not only fix the drawbacks, but also do more things beyond that like offering use a “superhero” arm to help us lift the heavy things.

The future of human-computer interaction is so bright. With the combination of technology and ourselves, we can do more than a single cool machine and a single individual can do.
