homework day 1 – dora

circuit 1

circuit 2

circuit 3

1)

  • human & phone : literally part of everyday life, humans rely on phones so much for their abilities like notes, calculator, calls & messages, location services
  • human & motion sensors: e.g. walking in a stairwell and the lights come up, automatic doors
  • humans & thermometers: what we do every morning now

interaction – interchange of things such as actions and speech between two or more people or objects

2)

  • resistors – to reduce current flow
  • wires – to carry the electricity
  • LED – an output source, also a diode, has a ground wire and a positive wire
  • breadboard – for circuit making
  • arduino uno – for circuit making

3) As shown, interaction is now much more than just between living things, it can be between people and a screen, between a man in a hospital and his audience watching from their cars, between different species, lifeforms and inventions. As AI is developing to have human like intelligence and as technology becomes more of a ubiquitous figure in the future, we will have many more interactions with them and this can be in the form of conversations/orders e.g. Siri or simple commands e.g. tapping a button on the screen. People will welcome new technology but we shouldn’t forget about interaction between humans as well.
