In the first piece, the touch sensor is used. You may control the on or off of the LED by touching the sensor. As for the second one, an ultrasonic ranger can measure the distance. To make it more interactive, I add a LED to it, which will give off lights if the distance is over 10cm.
Computers greatly spark human creativity by completing some repetitive computation and daily tasks. From the super computer more sophisticated than human brain to our daily memorandum inside our laptops, they are basically doing the same thing. With their assistance, we can use that time and energy to further explore and reflect ourselves.
Computers strengthen the social bounding of people. Internet enables people to widely interact with others, forming a close relationship even between strangers. Social media is a great example.
